Ukulele Starter Class- June 2

No music reading, no experience, no pressure. Just grab your ukulele and join the online class. (I’ll give you simple instructions ahead of time on how to do that.)

You’ll join me and your fellow ukulele beginners to learn 3 chords and a couple easy strum patterns. What can you do with 3 chords? A lot! Many hit songs have been written with only 3 chords. Start there. If you want to go deeper, you can add more chords later. But 3 chords will get you off to a great start and give you early success- and lots of fun!

This informal, relaxed class starts with guided practice in playing 3 chords. Then we move to strumming practice- nothing tricky, just easy, practical strums.

With those basic skills, you’re ready to start making music! Together we’ll look at two great 60s/70s era classics- John Denver’s Leaving on a Jet Plane and Dylan’s Blowin’ in the Wind.

Class size is restricted to no more than 5 students to make sure you get helpful personal attention.
